She began playing piano at the age of 3 and singing around her hometown of Myrtle Beach at age 10. By the time she was 11 years old, Maddie Hunt realized that her greatest dream was to be a singer on the big stage.
Singing the Sara Evans hit, “Born to Fly,” Maddie won her very first singing competition, Conway Junior Superstar, at the age of 11. In 2016, at age 15 she took home the first place prize in a Battle of the Bands Competition which also won her an opening slot for Tim McGraw and Kelsey Ballerini at the Carolina Music Festival.
In August of 2017, Maddie signed with Playback Records in Nashville and had the amazing opportunity to perform on the stage of the legendary Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. She has just completed her debut EP and is anxious to let her fans hear the music and to also welcome new fans to fold as she takes her first single, “Crank It Up,” to country radio in October.
